Review
Indigo Prophecy, or Farenheit as it is known in Europe, is an intriguing game. This is labeled as an adventure game, however it goes far from it, it feels like a movie, but you are controlling the actions. The storyline is very intriguing as it enters the world of paranormal activities. You are Lucas Kane, an honest regular citizen having a normal life. All of the sudden, you are in a public bathroom, covered in blood in front of a corpse. You don't have recollection of the events but it all looks as if you killed him. This incident triggers clairvoyant visions you started to have as a child. You were possessed by something and killed this man. Now you have to be one step in front of the police, while at the same time search who is behind this conspiracy. The movie elements in this game cannot be denied, and they work perfectly, with the exception of a few cameras and some character models. As the storyline progresses there are some impressive twists and it gets darker and darker. This game pushes forward into how interactive games can be. Its very recommendable. It is available through Steam thanks to Quantic Dream's and Valve's agreement. |
